JOSTEL OPENING TITLES

Two off centered sisters failing to run a hostel in Buenos Aires

These are the opening titles for Jostel, a sitcom we developed entirely at Plataforma at the beginning of 2013.

Jostel tells us the story of a funky hostel in Buenos Aires, owned by two completely different sisters: the oldest, traditional and self centered, the youngest, well… let’s say she’s the queen of her own lisergic world.

The contrast of personalities is represented in the contrast of elements used in the opening: a traditional look at Buenos Aires overlayed by pop-themed graphics.

Axel had the chance of making the direction for all the graphic pack and also the art direction for all the sets of the sitcom, which was something completely new for him.
